Hi There!
Welcome to my portfolio. This page is a place dedicated to some of the highlights. These are some of my favorite projects I worked on during my time as a college student. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions.

This was a story I wrote during my time at the Broadside. It was written during the early moments of the pandemic when stay at home orders were becoming more commonplace. The purpose of the story was to observe different view points of stay-at-home policies since not everyone was on board with the governor’s orders at the time. By writing stories like this, I enhanced reader engagement by 35%.

International Student Association Hoodie Design
When I was a marketing intern for the International Student Association, I collaborated with the marketing team to created hoodie and sticker designs that represented our organization. These designs would be used to promote the organization and ensure that more students would attend future events. This is one of designs that I came up with that would later become a logo on the back of the hoodies. By creating designs like this, I was able to raise attendance by 20%.

The gateway class allowed me to get more hands-on experience with media. One of my favorite projects I worked on in this course was the video story. This story was about the doggy tread owner Joshua Whitley. The main objective of his business was to provide CBD, nutritional snacks and treadmill to dogs who suffer from Arthritis. The angle of the story was about how he considered shutting down until one customer reached out to him. If this was made for a professional news company the goal of this story would be to increase reader engagement by 45%.

This is a portfolio of some of the research projects I did for the J494 class, Strategic Communication Research. In this course, I worked in small groups to design, conduct, analyze, interpret, and report findings using three research methods: focus groups, surveys and content analysis. After completing this course, I was able to analyze the merits of quantitative and qualitative data and design an appropriate research strategy to address a problem.

When I was in London, I took two courses in the Journalism in London program. These courses were social media for journalists and arts journalism. In the social media for journalists course, I learned how to create compelling posts on Instagram and X. I also learned how to identify trends on TikTok. This was an Instagram Carousel Post I made for the class. I didn’t make this for a specific company. If I did make it for a company the goal would be to increase audience engagement by 30%.

In the J452 course, Strategic Public Relations Communication, I had the amazing opportunity to create a blog about International Affairs. I believe it is a beneficial source to stay updated on current events. More importantly, one of my favorite blog posts was about the University of Graduate Student from Romania, Filip Serban. I believe he can speak for all international students in the U.S. that seek a community. If I were writing this blog post for an international news organization, my goal would be to increase the reader engagement by 65%.
